Dave is one of the most experienced leaders of quality assurance businesses in the UK and has been at the forefront of UK testing businesses for more than 15 years. He has over 30 years of IT delivery experience behind him, many of them working on the largest technology projects implemented in Europe.

His track record as an industry leader is second to none and has been cemented by his passion for creating deep and long-lasting business relationships.

Dave is committed to taking 2i forward as the leading quality assurance consultancy in the UK by ensuring that the changing face of test and risk management in today’s digital delivery world is reflected in how we engage with our clients and partners.

Ian founded 2i in 2005 and is responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the overall 2i Quality Assurance objectives. A test consultant with over 30 years experience, he has an established track record for delivering and embedding, tangible business and technology outcomes, on large-scale strategic programmes across multiple sectors.

A recognised expert on delivering full life-cycle quality assurance, Ian has held Senior Test and Programme delivery roles on several large-scale Strategic Transformation Programmes. Additionally, he provides guidance for our clients in developing and implementing enterprise-wide, organisational test practices. This experience incorporates devising the Strategy, Governance and Frameworks for all quality assurance phases where he brings a proven track record of delivery across multiple methodologies.

A key member of the 2i Board and Senior Management Team, Ian leads on the Innovation, Design and Development of 2i’s Services, ensuring we remain at the forefront of delivering the highest standards of quality in technology, quality and risk services.

 

Robert Kirkwood

Robert has over 30 years of Business Digital operations experience in both the public and private sector from technical roles through to executive management. He possesses an enviable and successful CIO track record for delivering tangible business and systems outcomes, transforming business services and embedding new digital and IT operating models.​ 

During his career, Robert has led small niche experienced teams as well as major engagements with responsibility for managing over 1400 people and significant 8 figure budgets & programmes. His distinguished career has included the delivery of consultancy engagements as an independent and as a member of large professional partnership firms. 

He joined 2i in early 2019 as a key board member and has overall responsibility for all of our client engagements bringing significant experience and extensive knowledge to the team.

Pauline Smith

Pauline is an extremely accomplished senior leader, with more than 25 years’ experience working in various disciplines within IT.

Her proven track record as an experienced Quality Assurance leader is demonstrated as she leverages her excellent leadership and teamwork skills in order to ensure that we have the best people and effective processes in place to support the exemplar delivery standards our clients have come to expect from 2i. 

Pauline believes that people are the key to 2i’s future success and is committed to fostering an environment where people feel empowered, supported and engaged whilst meeting the changing test and risk management requirements of our clients. Developing an Operations function to support 2i now and in the future.
